No Doubt's frontwoman Gwen Renee Stefani is an American singer. During the mid-1970s, she was living in Orange County, California with her British and Scottish mother, Patti, and Italian father, Denis. Jill and both of her brothers, Todd and Eric, are siblings of Gwen. She worked at Dairy Queen, a local department store, and a Dairy Queen before she ever made it big. In 1986, her brother Eric and friend John Spence formed No Doubt, which led to her singing career. In December 1987, John Spence, the band's original frontman, committed suicide, followed by Eric joining his animation career on "The Simpson." Gwen became the band's lead singer after Eric left.
Three years of hard work were required of all band members on the third album, during which they nearly divided up. However, they could not stand still and released its third album, "Tragic Kingdom," in 1995, which led to several hits, including "Just a Girl."
With the release of Love.Angel.Music.Baby, Stefani's first solo album, she embraced an entirely different sound from her work with No Doubt. The album was produced in part by Martin Richey, who joined forces with Stefani and Kanal to produce the hit song "Rich Girl." Another huge hit was "Hollaback Girl," one of the hottest songs of the summer of 2005.
